Bye Bye 2016

Though i am trying hard to remain a regular blogger but somewhere with lots of things to i am not bale to give much time to blogging.After quite some time i ma writing a blkog and more rarely i am writing an analysis to whole year kinda blog.
After a life changing 2015 this year was more of a life directing year. Spent some quality time with my daughter. she is getting cuter day by day. She started speaking or should i say started uttering words, started standing on her lags and about to walk. Hope in 2017 she will start not only walking but running as well.
Books: Literature-wise this was a good year. The target for this year was 60 books but i end up reading 90 books. reading some much awaited ones like "महासमर श्रृंखला " "अभ्युदय ". Target  for 2017 will be 120 books.
Movies: This year did not get time to watch any classic and year was dry one.
Serials: This year finished watching Spartacus. target for next year will be "GOT" and "प्रधानमंत्री " along with "मालगुड़ी डेज"  which is long pending.
Travels: Though this year was little hectic without much work but i manage to visit 03 places. First is Delhi. I have been to Delhi many times but this year i visited some unconventional and low profile but important places like "हुमायूँ का मक़बरा " "क़व्वाली-निजामुद्दीन दरगाह"  . This year also visited Bhojpur and Bhimbetka, both were long pending. Visited Puri along with Pipili and Raghurajpur which i missed last time i went to Puri. Attended international Sand Art festival which was a bucket list point. For 2017, 6 new places are target.
Blogs: This year i posted only around 15 blogs which is quite low, In 2017 i will try to be more regular in blogging and will try to write 30 blogs.
Lyfinframes: In the 4th quarter of 2016, i came across Lyfinframes. This is a startup by a friend who wish me join it. I joined but i still do not know i far will i go. More importantly i need to discover how much i can give to lyfinframes and how much it can give me.
Resolution: Like everyone i too have many failed resolution sin my life so for 2017 i will not keep any larger then life motto. This year i will work on my "tendency to delay things, decisions and let everything wait for right time" which never happen so for 2017 i will try to finish off an issue whenever i got one be it small matter or any big decision.
Though i reached that age in my life where one have settled habits and attributes but 2016-2017-2018 trio will decide where i will end up in my life. Life has already taken a certain direction and only time will tell where i reach.
 On this note, its time to bid adieu to 2016.

11 Must do things In Delhi

In this blog let me share my list of "11 must do things in New Delhi".
1. Plan a visit to Hazrat Nizamuddin's dargah in Nizamuddin area on a Thursday or Saturday evening and attend a Qawwali their. It is a perfect soul healing experience.
2.  Go to Akshardham. Keep 5-6 hour for it and do attend water show and exhibitions.
3.  Visit Gurudwara Bangla Sahib. Work there voluntarily as a sewadar.
4. Go to Lotus Temple and do some meditation. A perfect place to interact with yourself.
5.  Going to any ISKCON temple can be a good experience but attending an evening prayer can change your life.
6. Take a walk in evening around India Gate and surroundings. You will be mesmerized by it.
7. Visit Humayun's Tomb. It is Tajmahal of stone.
8. Go to Qutubminar. Read its history, before going there.
9. Visit Jantar Mantar nd try to measure time by ancient methods.
10. For cheap and bargained shopping, go to Karol bagh.
11. How many places have a gali name on paranthas. Well delhi has one. Visit Paranthe wali gali.

Scion Of Ishvaku

Just finished reading Amish Tripathi's "Scion of Ishvaku". Highly disappointed with it. It suppose to be a mythological-fiction-thriller but it failed at all 3 aspects. Poor description of mythology. Poorly written and a spoiled thriller. Its not even a good time pass. Being first part of 3 book series, it suppose to have high pace and should leave more questions but it will take you to a journey of technical details. Amish seems to stuck in his "Meluha" series and this book seems a 4th part of that series. At some points book is very slow and very boring.
If you missed this book, don't worry you didn't miss much.

Most serine places

In my life I have traveled a lot. I met many peoples and visited many places but there are very few places which i can describe as most serine or the places where i felt very peaceful. Here are the list of few such places:
1. Gurudongmar Lake, Sikkim: One hell of an experience.
2. Taj Mahal,Agra: Sitting on the marbles of Taj Mahal with your loved ones is actually a must do thing.
3. Mental Asylum,Bangalore: Before going there i dont know one such place exist in our society. One dirty secret of otherwise sophisticatic society.

4. Vrindavan: Attending Evening prayer in ISCKON temple will take yopu to some other world.

5. Golden Temple,Amritsar: A total beauty.

6. Meeting a Lama: Meeting somebody who has no materialistic life can actually make you feel wonder.

I know the list is quite small but it will be updated regularly.

अर्थ

अभी अभी "अर्थ" फिल्म देखि। बहुत ही अच्छी और यादगार फिल्म है। जितनी ज्यादा ओल्ड क्लासिक फ़िल्में देखता जा रहा हूँ उतना ही मैं अभी भूत भोटा जा रहा हूँ. अर्थ कई मायनों में एक यादगार फिल्म है.  एक दमदार कहानी , जिसे महान अभी ने से जीवंत कर दिया है और इन सबके साथ है संगीत जो फिल्म को दिल की गहराई तक ले जाता है. अर्थ में ये सभी कुछ है । 

 अर्थ एक फिल्म है जो अपने आप में पूर्ण है । २ अभिनेत्रियां जिन्होिंे यादगार अभी ने की मिशाल  पेश की है, खूबसूरत डायलाग  और दिल को छू लेने वाला संगीत । संगीत फिल्म का एक मजबूत पक्षः है और कहीं भी फिल्म को बिखरने नहीं देता. ऐसा कहा जाता है की ये फिल्म महेश भट्ट-परवीन बाबी-सोनी राजदान की जिंदगी पे आधारित है । महेश भट्ट की पतंबि, जिसके पति का एक अभिनेत्री से अफेयर है के रोले में शबाना आज़मी ने गजब कर दिया है. एक लावारिस लड़की जिसको बड़ी मुश्किल से एक घर और गृहस्थी मिली और जो सपने में भी नहीं सोच सकती की उसका ये घरोंदा बिखर जायेगा उसके दर्द को शबाना ने जीवंत कर दिया है । फिल्म को शबाना के दृष्टिकोण से ही लकिखा गया है । 

फिल्म कि शुरुआत में हिो "कोई ये कैसे बताये की वो तनहा क्यों है " आता है गाने के बोल और फिल्म की परिस्थिति फिट बैठती है. ये गण बहुत खूबसूरत तरीके से उस औरत का दर्द बयान करता है जो अपने अंदर एक लड़ाई लड़ रही है ।  दूसरा गण आता है "तुम इतना जोई मुस्कुरा रहे हो क्या गम है जिसको छिप रहे हो " ये उस हालत को दिखता है जिसमे शबाना अपने दर्द को छिप कर मुस्कुरा रही है है और उसकी अपनी जिंदगी आगे बढ़ रही है । तीसरा गाना  आता "झुकी झुकी सी नजर " जो की शबाना की वो स्थिति बताता है जिसमे वो अपने एक दर्द से आगे बढ़ चुकी है और प्यार जिसका दरवाजा खटखटा रहा है ।
स्मिता पाटिल और कुलभूषण खरबंदा ने अपने किरदारों के साथ पूरा न्याय किया है पर अर्थ केवल और केवल शबाना और जगजीत के संगीत के लिए याद की जाएगी ।
