Just finished reading "Palace of Illusions by Chitra B Devkuni". This is a version of Mahabharat from Draupadi's point of view. It is very well written and every caste and character has been given decent weight-age. The book balances between miracle part and fact part without comprises the plot. I will recommend this book to get a different view. Some good lines are written below:
- A well-meaning man is more dangerous because he believes in the rightness of what he does.
- Your childhood hunger is the one that never leaves you.
- Is the desire for vengeance stronger than the longing to be loved? What evil magic does it possess to draw the human heart so powerfully to it?
