I just finished reading “India’s biggest
cover up” by Anuj Dhar. Before this book my association with Bose was through
different history books and documentaries. I quite like Shaym Benegals movie “Bose:
the forgotten hero”. I read a lot about mystery surrounding his death but never
get to know things in depth. To me Bose was like many other freedom fighters. Reading
India’s biggest cover up has changed things for me, my point of view has changed.
I get to k now many things in detail about Bose’s death, his resurrection. This
book provides an in depth analysis of most hidden part of Bose’s life i.e. his
life after his death. The book uses official references and pointed to a world
of controversies. Book raises many questions and provides answers as well.
I just love this book. It’s another example
to prove that we are reading history from a more congress point of view. It’s a
finest book on “Investigative Journalism” . It’s a must read for suspense and
history lovers. My rating for this book is 4.5/5.
